South Kent battled back from an early deficit to secure a 3-1 victory over Darien High School. After conceding the opening goal, the Cardinals leveled the score when Rodrigo Monsalve finished a chance from distance created by Josiah Doe. Early in the second half, BrunoRomero put South Kent ahead with a strike assisted by Preston Quinones. The win was sealed late as Daniel Lee netted his first goal for South Kent, set up by Santi Matchain, capping off a strong team performance for the first game of the season.
